There was so much space! It is a very big apartment and is well set up. This would be an ideal place for a family wanting to stay in Brooklyn for a couple of nights.
In the Booked.net ad it said the apartment had a laundry, which was one of the main reasons we booked it. Unfortunately, after much searching, we realised there was not one. After ringing the estate agent, we found out there was one down in the basement, while we were on the fifth floor, and the elevator wasn't working on our level. Not as convenient as we hoped, especially as we had to pay to use the washing machine and dryer downstairs.
Close to metro with good connections. Wifi (ask codes). Shops close to the appartment. Keys had to be picked up in Manhattan but were delivered in Brooklyn on request. Enough space for 6 persons. Good (hard) beds.
For last part of payment, I still had to go to the office in Manhattan. Bring your ear-plugs for a good night sleep (airco, planes, trafic), like everywhere in cities
I liked the location, the peace and quiet only a short distance from Manhattan, I also liked the good range of restaurants in the immediate area. I thougt the range and quality of restaurant food was a great improve, emt to that of Manhattan.
The biggest drawback was that the keys had to be collected from west Manhattan, very inconvenient. This fact should have been made known before booking, not when he booking was confirmed. If we had known this we probably wouldn't have booked the apartment. But the flip side is we would have missed the Brooklyn experience, which we enjoyed.
